When German police decided to replace their existing rubber batons, they came up with extensive test criteria for the durability and effectiveness of a new expandable impact weapon. Eight of the sixteen German states participated in the development of the specifications for the baton. The G-1 patented design outperformed all competitors´ products and is the only design in the German market that is certified to meet these new specifications*.

*Test according to German Police Conduct Academy specifications TR0805: a wedge shaped steel weight with a mass of 11.35 pounds (5,146g) is dropped from 6.56 feet (2m) onto the baton, which is only supported in two points. (Test results may vary)
